Camouflage is the way I see Life!

Now yes as you can see I am a country girl. I love to hang around with the boys and go to derbies, do a little mud slingin' here and there, but there's one thing you can NOT count me out of is HUNTING! I love hunting ever sense i was just a little squirt. I mean come on who wouldn't love to sit in a car and drive around looking for the big brown animal. It doesn't just have to be Deer you hunt either it can be any game that is in your area or maybe you would like to leave your state and go find a better game. When you have the chance go to another country and hunt their game. Now many girls do not like the sport called hunting. Many girls do not even consider it to be a sport. though to me hunting is a sport.

I love the adrenalin rush you get when you see one coming out of the trees or on the run. I like waking up early in the morning and putting on my camouflage and orange and coming out to look for the TIRTY- Point Buck.I know I am a Little bit crazy for all  of this but, to me it's a way of life.

Now this upcoming deer season hunter have crossed a problem. There is a disease going around and a lot of the deer population is dying out. The Game and Fish Department of North Dakota says  that one tag will be given out to everyone who is drawn. They also say that there possibly might not be a second drawing this year so if you do not get drawn then your out for hunting season. Sure there is other seasons for different game but, hunting is the most popular. I mean if i don't get a tag this year i might just cry. :( I missed so many years because I wasn't old enough and by golly I do not want to miss another one.

I do not just do deer hunting though around my lovely state. I have many opportunities to go out with friends and hunt other game. I love it when i get invited along with the boys to go out and do some hunting. When i am hunting with them it's a bonding time. I mean sure we have other times we get to bond but, hunting brings us closer together cause most girls would rather throw on make up and get all dolled up then skip the make up, put your hair in a ponytail, and throw on some dirty jeans and camouflage top.

So, If you like hunting like me here's some steps I want you to fallow to make it a safe hunting experience for everybody.
1) Do not shoot unless you have your hunter safety
2) Do not point a gun at someone even if unloaded
3) Always make sure your gun is on safety while in a car
4) Do not consume alcohol while hunting
5) Make sure you do not have a shell in the chamber unless shooting.

Now go out and have some fun if you would like to know when you can shoot certain game here is the North Dakota Game and Fish Department to look them up.http://gf.nd.gov/about/season-dates.html

Take you for a ride on my BIG GREEN TRACTOR :)

Farming what is it? The direct definition is the cultivation of animals, plants, fungi, and other life forms for food, fiber, and other products used to sustain life.[1] Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human civilization, whereby farming of domesticated species created food surpluses that nurtured the development of civilization. The study of agriculture is known as agricultural science. Agriculture generally speaking refers to human activities, although it is also observed in certain species of ant and termite

Now when I get asked what is farming I simply think of the Spring first. Spring because we get to finally get back into the fields and take off all the winter crops that we do not harvest during the fall because they are not in their prime yet. I also think of being able to do rock picking in the big GREEN tractors. I love sitting in the tractors and going up and down that long dusty field getting all the rocks out so they do not block seeds from growing. It gets very enjoyable when you have friends that come sit in the tractor with you. Some days if you get stuck in a tractor when the days are hot and you have no air condition you wanna just fall over and collapse. It can get very hot and muggy in that little cab your sitting in.

When the end of the school year comes it seems like everybody in my small town is in the fields. If you would like to hangout with one of us well you better come jump up in the tractor. It seems like when i am in the tractor some of my friends get mad cause in some of my areas i don't get service so i won't get their phone call or text and they can't get a hold of me. which is dumb because some of them don't understand all the things we have to do when we are in the field. The worst part is when you break down somewhere and have to wait till you get one of the boys over to help you out and get the tractor back up and running.

When summer comes it seems like i am always running and doing something. It seems I am running into town to pick up a part or I am running back to the farm to get us something to eat or drink. I don't mind though it's something i like to do. When i go back home for farming it seems like i am where i should be. The great outdoors in the rural life is where i am suppose to be. Its weird but the quote most of us use when we are out there is "We are finally in God's country!" I like driving the 4 wheelers and dirt bikes out and around to the boys but, most i live operating or riding in those big GREEN TRACTORS. Yeah, I got friends with tractors.:)

The best time about farming though is when it's almost harvest time and you look out at those rolling fields with the sunset behind them. all that you can see that comes to it is the beautiful lavender flax fields swaying back and forth right next to the amber waves of grain. though when harvest time comes and all the dust is flying up it becomes a little sad. knowing that the sight of those crops wont come again for another year. :( Though the smell of taking f the crops is an essence of smells you can not make come alive in a perfume or Cologne. It's a smell that you just have to wait and smell again the next year.
